My wife, Linda Durkin was diagnosed with Synovial Sarcoma of the chest wall cavity in 2004. the prognosis from our local hospital was 6 months with absolutely no recommendation to treat this dreadful disease. After considerable research I found Dr. D'Adamo at Memorial Sloan. I have nothing but respect for this gentlemen. The chemo, radiation and treatment was truly experimental as explained by Dr. D'Adamo. The treatment extended the life of my wife for over four years, mostly painless. Doctor David R. D’Adamo.
This outstanding, professional and highly intelligent man is now considered my hero! He took on a great deal in saving my life when I was diagnosed with stage 3/4 Esophageal Cancer back in July of 2003.
There are no words to describe how I feel towards this man, along with his associates and to the entire staff at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, who saved my life.
