Dr. Espat is Professor and Chief, Surgical Oncology, and Vice-Chair of Surgery at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, Rhode Island. He previously served as Interim Chief of Surgery, Chief of Hepatobiliary Surgery, and Director of Regional Hepatic Therapies at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Espat also holds a Master’s degree in nutrition and has published extensive research concerning nutritional needs of surgical patients. His clinical interests include hepatic tumors, complex pancreatic diseases and energy-based technology development for tumor ablation.

So glad that I found you. This is Randi - Joe pavlo's daughter in Chicago. You saved my dads life 10 years ago. At the time you said it was in your top stories of memories of survival. Congratulations on your amazing career. How fortunate they are to have you. I am typing from Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL where my dad was hospitalized yesterday (he is now 82).They found an 8 inch mass in his stomach and are running tests as i type. The first thing he said to me was go find dr. Espot !! I pray that you and your family are in good health. in case u done remember me you moth remember my other 3 sisters and u were so kind and patient with us. When we asked you what my dads odds were for survival you responded that your were amazed that he survived based upon him coding on the operating room table.
