Over the last weekend we visited the Grand Canyon National Park. We did a sunrise to sunset trip, getting up at 5 to go catch the sunrise and left the park only after seeing the sunset. In between we took lots of photos, went to the different view points and also did a 6 mile hike in the canyon. This is a shot from within the canyon, of the most beautiful shades and symmetry. The green grove in the middle is the Indian Garden, 4.5 miles into the canyon. The trail that goes out from it leads to Plateau Point at the center of the photo. From here you can see the Colorado River. This is the Bright Angel trail.
