Samaritans Pilgrimage Shavuot 2007

Samaritans are the smallest, most ancient sect in the world. Their religion is based on the 5 books of the Torah only and is descended from the ancient Israelite tribes of Menashe and Efraim. The community numbers today only around 730 people, half at Mount Grizim in the West Bank and the others in Holon near Tel Aviv in Israel.
Three times a year, at Suckot, Passover & Shavuot, they all climb to Mt. Gerizim, and pray during the night, waving the holy Torah chant. I've visited the Shavuot pilgrimage on June 24, 2007 and here are selected results. Vote if you like.
