I feel that Detroit (and Japan) have long lost it's touch with style. There are exceptions of course. Unfortunately some of the concept cars that we really like never make it into production. What you see below are only the cars that caught my eye. So many others are just, well, cars. I am of course talking about styling here. Yes, there are some pretty impressive new technology under the hood and they are getting more and more HP out of smaller engines these days. But from a photographic standpoint HP and what is hidden underneath does not make the car look good. I like the looks of the proposed Pontiac Roadster and if it indeed goes for under $20K it will likely sell quite well. However it has a somewhat paltry motor in it. But then we can only go 65 MPH (yeah right!) on the freeways anyway.
