I have a friend that has a 1955 Merc wagon ground up restoration and the same color combo as the one pictured above, as a matter of fact it is a twin of the car pictured above. I believe it has all the options that were available at that time. The car is better than new.

1955 Mercury Monterey Station Wagon. Although the Montclair was Mercury's new top line series for 1955, the Monterey Staion Wagon was the most expensive '55 Mercury at $ 2,844. Mercury was all new for '55 and enjoyed its best year ever with smart, with the times styling. Over 329,000 Mercurys were sold in a record setting year for Mercury and the Industry as a whole.
