From the WaterFire program book: "WaterFire is a work of art that involves movement, participation, and surprise.
When visitors encounter WaterFire, they cannot absorb the sculpture from just their sense of sight or even from a single vantage point -
they must walk through the installation and they must use all five of their senses."
"The Classical Greek philosophers divided the world into four elements - earth, air, fire, and water.
WaterFire incorporates all of the elements of these traditional systems into a new harmonious whole."
Great photos. Hope to visit Waterfire tonight, July 4th,09 and get some good photos of my own. I find it hard to get a good spot to get skyline shots. I have some pretty good ones of Waterfire itself over the years I have visited. Thank you for sharing yours. Truly enjoyed them!

Bill; Great shots of a good time. All that is missing is the music. I look forward to your jungle shots coming up.

Bill: Very good images. I wish I had a better monitor to view them on. I like the sky line shots when there is still some light in the sky. Have a good day. Jeff
