A wounderful Christmas with the Clare and Brady families in the Lake District, UK. We stayed at Yew Bank, a traditional Cumbrian cottage dating from the 1800s set in lovely grounds with it's own stream! The house enjoys views over Esthwaite Water and has associations with Beatrix Potter, who lived in nearby Sawrey, which has a fabulous church where we took part in a Candlelight Carol Service on Christmas Eve. We also did some sightseeing and took in the amazing scenery in Hawkshead, Coniston, Grasmere and surrounds.
