Anthony, thank you for your comment. As for how far is it, I think for the lion kings one, it was about 20 to 30 yards, and the those dancers, they were a lot closer, about 10 to 15 yards).
As you can see the shutter speed is @ 1/2000, so I did not use tripod for all these pics. All I did is try to keep my hands steady.
For metering I used center-weight average. Not much post processing, just resize (too much pics, and too lazy). But I did set the 350D sharpness to 2 before using it.
For filters, just a Heliopan UV ( I wont take the 85L anywhere, without protection!!)
You are right about this lens, I just wish I can find a better deal here in Hong Kong :(

I have looked at all of your photos posted here and, I am totally amazed. How far
away were you from the subjects, did you use a tripod, and what type of light
meter did you use? Did you do a lot of post processing? I passed up an
opportunity to get a new one at an execellent price. This is one heck of a lens,
and of course, great work on your part. Did you use any filters?
