Throughout Cuba, American Classic cars and motorcycles from the 40s and 50s seem everywhere. While many reflect their age, there are plenty that are gorgeous reflecting the pride of the Cuban Culture. Private auto ownership in Cuba is largely restricted to cars built before 1960 and most of the classics are required to serve as collective taxis, the backbone of the Cuban public transportation system. Beyond the American classics you find Soviet era cars from the 70s and 80s along with some European and Asian manufacturers.
