This boy couldnīt get away quick enough from the carousel after the ride. Probably he didnīt enjoy it.

MELISSA ETHERIDGE


As a whole the eighties werenīt really a decade of good music to my opinion, apart from some exceptions.
One of them was Melissa Etheridge. She started to become popular in the second half of that decade, and is by far my favourite female singer today.

'Refugee' was originally written by Tom Petty and released in 1980 on his 'Damn the Torpedos' LP.
Melissa covered the song in 2005 for her 'Greatest Hits' compilation.
