The (Painted) Churches of Fayette County

There are many places in central Texas that were settled by the Czechs and Austrians and one of their contributions to this area were painted churches. There are several throughout central Texas and I recently visited four of them on a photographic expedition. This is my attempt to visually present these treasures to my galleries and explain something about the history of each church.
