Thanks Chuck! Sorry for the late acknowledgement. I found this quote while looking for the difference - “The sessilifolia only has one flower per stalk, but the puberula will have two. If you see two flowers on a stalk, it is a puberula.”

Your Wild Oats 1 photo is mislabeled. It is not Uvularia perfoliata. The epithet "perfoliata" means "through the leaf." The leaf of this species completely surrounds the stem, so that the stem appears to pierce "through the leaf" (as in the larger U. grandiflora). The flower shown in your beautiful shot labeled Wild Oats 1 is one of the sessile-leaved species, either U. pudica/puberula (likely) or U. sessilifolia. I have trouble distinguishing between those two species. Chuck McCartney
