Last time we were at the Cruickshank Trail, there was quite a bit of bird activity and even a couple of otters playing for the tourists and photographers. This time there was barely any action at all. We still wanted to walk the 5 mile loop trail - maybe all the birds were hiding up the trail. The trail meanders along the edge of a marshy area that borders the Indian River Lagoon.
