The newspaper announced that more sections of the Parkway were to open up and I was eager to see. It was a rough winter at that elevation and the road was littered with fallen trees and limbs. Sure enough, the Parkway north towards Graveyard Fields was open! I pulled over at the first place I knew I'd see Looking Glass Rock in the distance.
