I've been trying to update the Panthertown Valley section of my site - http://www.ncwaterfalls.com/panther1.htm - to coincide with the new Forest Service plan. I needed to revisit the Devil's Elbow area of Panthertown, so that was today's adventure. Harry and I met Bernie at the Cold Mountain entrance to Panthertown and we headed down the Panthertown Valley Trail that leads towards Schoolhouse Falls and the Devil's Elbow Trail down the Tuckasegee River. We bypassed Warden, Jawbone, and Riding Ford Falls on the way to Devil's Elbow, but did take this side trail down to this unnamed small waterfall farther down from Riding Ford Falls.
