This is a rapid called Gorilla. Doesn't look like much, but when the power plant up river releases water from the lake, it turns into a raging Class V big monkey. When I exited I-26 at Upward Rd earlier, there were some boaters at the Waffle House and I remembered the Green River Narrows Race is in early November. Was it yesterday??

I had just finished loading the camera back in the pack to head up river when the river began rising rapidly and Gorilla began filling up. I got the camcorder out and began shooting.
