Guadalupe Mountains National Park is one of two national parks in Texas (the other is Big Bend National Park, https://pbase.com/wailee6/bigbend/ ). The higest peak of the state of Texas, Gaudalupe Peak (8,751 feet or 2,667 m), is also located within the Gaudalupe Mountains National Park. The park is located in west Texas and at the border of Texas and New Mexico.
