Great Horned Owl

Oyster Bay Regional Park, San Leandro, CA

This owl had been harassed for over an hour by a Red-Shouldered Hawk
that didn't appreciate the competition. My arrival made it leave, but
the owl was still wary in the deep shelter of a tree.
