Here is a portrait of artist Louis Pirro, originally from Connecticut, in his studio at home in Pocatello. In the foreground is one of his many palettes, which, in my imagination at least, might have been used to paint something with Western colors. He recently sold his 200th painting, and continues to receive commission to do public art in Connecticut. His Web site is http://www.geocities.com/lopisaans/
