This is true! Thank you for the comment. It is sometimes difficult to resist temptations especially during the holiday season! I'll always miss the incredible variety of foods, most of which are healthy, that are available in Thailand. Actually the particular dishes that you see here, all home-made, are not as nearly as high in sugar and fat as they may look. The meat was oven-roasted with minimal basting with olive oil, and the rice, black beans, and broccoli was fried, also in a minimal amount of olive oil which is healthier than many other oils. I do, however, eat too much sugar and fat in other dishes. My cholesterol levels have remained low, however. My main health problems stem from my allergies to pollens, air pollutants and mold, which often clog up my sinuses enough to create a bacterial sinus infection.

Dear Dr. Mo,
Eating a lot of sugar and fat will make your blood cholesterol increase.Try to be far away from those foods.
