I don't know, but I doubt it. There are lots of chokecherry here in our area and they are tall bushes and look different. These are no more than a foot tall and look more similar to grass.

am guessing from where you were and what I saw near there this weekend that this might be a chokecherry, but without leaves and other angles on other flower clusters, it's hard to tell.
