I believe the "blue dicks" Ruth identified is more likely to be
Brodiaea douglasii -- Douglas Brodiaea or Blue Dicks (the genus name
used to be Dicklostemma.

Your wild hyacinth is Triteleia grandiflora, or Douglas's brodiaea, but wild hyacinth is also fine for a common name.
Anyway, the photo was taken on June 22, 2003, either at home (about 5770') or on Scout Mountain, higher up than that. Next time I should take photos of other parts of the plant, and carry my GPS with me in order to record the location more accurately!!
