Ah the old days - some tri-x in a ss Leica M3 - I used a small Seconic L-398 incident light meter preset the shutter speed and lens opening and walla!
But I just got me a little Canon digi P&S (Power Shot A430) - at about $130 it's practically a throw-away so no rip-off worries of my priceless antique and I can go anywhere and get decent B^W well focused and exposed not quite as sharp as the Leica Summicron collapsicle 50 mm f/2 but street fun and that's the ticket.
