Jan 14: Peeling paint

The new house and garden have a whole bucket load of new photographic inspirtaion. Today, I was sorting through the (mostly) rubbish in the garage. Today's finds are a electrical multimeter and a pair of saftey specs. Amongst the junk are various containers of unknown solvents, empty weed killer bottles and a nasty looking trap, old and rusty, but still a scary item. I had a quick look in the shed and found little of any use except a can of 'Sturmey Archer' Bicycle oil. While out at the old and decaying shed, I got this shot of its peeling and flaking paint. It must have been quite stylish when first applied...

I'm sure the scary trap would be perfect for a photo or two. This texture is awesome!

I thought that someone, or something, had been clawing at the door trying to escape! Scary!

Oops! Nice textures here, the paint is almost peeling in a starburst pattern...

I'm with Dawn, I'd like to see those other things... How about that bicycle oil? Cool name...

Curious to see the other items now. Great textures here, Rather cool how they're arrowing in towards each other too.
