Oct 6: Ooops

Whilst tidying the house, I managed to knock over this lamp. Narrowly missing a hot cup of tea and the dog's water bowl, it hit the hard concrete kitchen floor, where it smashed. The bulb remained intact, and lit the damage perfectly. It was a beautiful egg shape, and looks here as if some creature has emerged. Maybe this photograph was inside all along...

Wow! At first I thought this was an action shot. It looked as though you were waiting to shoot while someone pitched a golf ball at this poor lamp. What a happy accident!

I'd leave it right there just to see what people say
when they come to visit.
A real conversation starter!

Excellent shot! I admire your dedication. ;-) Love the hatched egg thing. I'm going to look for something to break for my PAD...lol.

Ahhhh the sacrifices we make as artists :) Well done!!

Nicely done. Talk about making the best of a situation. Don't you think Linda will get tired of you breaking things for the sake of PAD?

Talk about making a silk purse out of a sow's ear... this is truly an artful recovery David. Well done.
