Just starting to rain

Just starting to rain

Out in the woods, yes, walking the dogs again. We found a still and dark pond, the water was almost black, something to do with the peaty soil or something. I was trying to get reflection shots... the trees on the opposite, Archie taking a drink, Linda taking a photograph... none of it very successful. Then it started to rain, and I got this. Almost solid like metal.

Canon EOS 300D Digital Rebel ,Canon EF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 Macro II USM
1/200s f/4.5 at 105.0mm iso800 (yes it was that dark in the woods) full exif

other sizes: small medium original

Beautiful shot. Rhythymn, texture, all with a glossy sheen - very nice.

Actually Ray, it's a full colour image... the black water reflecting an overcast sky. That's all the colour there was! I can see the food tin too, now you mention it!

Brillianr, especially in b and w. Don't you think the central circular group looks like the bottom of a food tin?
