Shiny things

Having an early Beetle is going to mean lots of regular tinkering. There are things to grease and adjust as often as every 1,500 miles (2,500km). So, while Luke and the guys at Terry's are getting the car together, I’ve been trying to get my VW toolkit back together. The small spanner on the left is vital for regular valve adjustment, while it's big brother on the right is for removing the engine!

Sadly Chris I've barely seen David in the last week or so due to the pressures of work. I will take your comments to heart and do so just as soon as I get through my crisis!

What about the hammer that every Beetle owner I have ever known tells me is a necessity? You know, to bash the starter motor when it gets stubborn!!!

Nice ... like the arrangement .. the lighting .. and the way you have the wrenches held off the background .. nice idea.

I like this shot very much.
Perhaps one day Linda could take a photo of you taking a photo like this.

and don't forget the Wice - Grip for those stubborn, rusty and deformed nuts where no spanner fits !
Fine capture
