Now I'm a subscriber but that hasn't made me any smarter. This image is still a mystery and I'm dying to know what it is. Please reveal its nature or offer a clue.

It looks like a multiple exposure of two persons descending an escalator or stairs, but I can't figure out the lights. Or two persons walking on a sidewalk, one carrying a bag with lights (lower lights) as a car drives by (upper lights) and the photographer moves the camera. What is it?
