On the way back from somewhere, we stopped to poke about at the site that was once RAF Davidstow Moor. It's now all but abandoned, although technically still a live airfield. I have seen a plane take off from here, but it's mostly populated by sheep and horses, which I would think make landings a a bit awkward. I wondered what some of the buildings might have been for. This one is currently home to a few damaged body panels from a VW Passat. Why someone would dump them here rather than take them to the, er what's it called, oh yeah, the dump, is beyond me... But the view of the sky from inside through the missing roof was lovely today. Less so, I would think, on a rainy day.
