Damn I remember that thoohless hound! Her tongue would always hang out of the side of her mouth. I grew up on the 2300 block of Glencoe ave. the whole Irvine clan moved in on the next block over. It was in the late 60's. My older brothers used to hang out with David Dan and Doug. Mainly David and Dan. I was closer in age to their sister Kim. we went to Mark twain and VHS through the same years. ( I always thought she was a cuttie.) Any way back to Candy the dog. she just showed up one day at the Irvines house as I recall and the family just adopted her. she seemed like an old dog even then. she even had some pups as I recall. I guess Doug must have been the one to Keep her through the years. Wow Candy the dog what a trip!!

Awwww Candy! She was such a sweetie. I remember she would curl up in my lap on forth of July after hours when people would blow fire works, she would tremble and I'd have to pett her so much to get her to relax. Poor baby.
