Ygnacio D. Diaz
My name Ygnacio Diaz. I was a K-9er at Bien Hoa, Vietnam from Mar. 66 to Feb. 67. I trained and Zip 1A38. We were sent as a team to Bien Hoa. Because of Zip a faithful companion who played his combat role as to detect and deter, who would give his life for his handler. All K-9ers regardless of military branch serve, are all my brothers. God Bless the USA and all who signed a blank check to Uncle Sam. Thanks for your service.
My dog's name was Frosty, #400E, and I was at Bien Hoa from July, 1966 to July, 1967.My name is John Tyson, and I am retired USAF and California and Nevada Law Enforcement.
The one name I remember is Noel Germain. He was from Massachusetts. We became good friends, but he left to go home in May, 1967.

I just passed along a note to Dick Ridenauer's daughter about my service with her Dad. He and I served together at Plattsburgh AFB and Brize Norton RAFB in England and became Sentry Dog Handlers around the same time. Got our orders and flew to Vietnam together. I am sorry to hear that he is not with us any more. It would have been fun to share some old stories.
I was with a Wendell Carey at Bien Hoa and Tuy Hoa, but that was 1966 and 1967. My dogs name was Faust. Seven of us went from Bien Hoa to Tuy Hoa. Harmon Hitt, Richard Ridenauer, William Allen, Wendell Carey, Jerry Christopher, Maurice Finucan, Stephen Scott and myself. Hope everyone is well! Think of you all often!!!
Just checked in after a time and found new pictures. Thanks for the reminder Rick. Seen a lot of young faces. Were we really that young and full of piss and vinegar? Those were fun days. Gene Spaulding-Cimarron (email@example.com)

I was not a handler , but in 1970 a scout dog that was suppose to be put down ,was left in my care. The dog was Tasha ,and he had been saved by a Sgt. Records show that he was suppose to have been put down 17 Oct. 1968 . Any information as to handlers he worked with ,and units he served with would be greatly appreciated .email@example.com
