Mfue Lodge

Mfuwe Lodge South Luangwa National Park Zambia

Mfue Lodge is the gateway to the Luangwa National Park.
We spent a few tired hours relaxing after our flight from San Francisco to London to South Africa to Mfue International Airport and 4x4 ride to the logde.

Mfue lodge has swimming pool overlooking a riverbed and the wildlife that visits there.
While relaxing we saw elephants, fish eagles, a hippopotomus, cape buffalo, flamingos, egrets, baboons, and more that I do not remember.

Mfue lodge is famous for its elephants that stroll through the lobby and into the courtyard in search of marula fruit when it is in season.

Families stay at Mfue and don't go far into the park.
