North Clear Creek Falls is located between Creede and Lake City, Colorado on Highway 149. This waterfall is one of Colorado's most photographed locations, and for good reason. The stunning falls drop over 100 feet into a rocky canyon. From a viewing platform (where this image was captured), you have great views of North Clear Creek Falls, or you can take a trail along the edge that also leads down into the canyon (see other images). The trail is rocky and has loose dirt, so be careful. The effort is well worth it, though, to gain different viewpoints of the waterfall.
