In my front garden

I could never grow rhododendrons and azaleas in my garden in England as the soil was not right for them, but here they grow very nicely. There are five bushes and they are all supposed to be pink but this red one snuck in somehow. The pink ones are not quite as advanced yet, so look out for their flowers in the coming days!

A very fine shallow focus and enhanced sharpening, has created a beautifully impressive floral image, Tricia.
The texture appears like tissue paper, which gives it a fine delicacy.
you say that yo couldn't find these flowers here in England.
But here in Northumberland, there are masses of rhododendrons of various colours around the Victorian engineer, lord William Armstrong's home at Cragside House, Rothbury.
