Rome - The Eternal City, 2004

Spent a weekend in Rome, dividing the time between the Vatican and Ancient Rome, also spent a morning wandering through Trastevere. Hope this gives you an impression.

A little moment of evasion during dull work... More than the monuments, statues and small streets, I very much like the 'shiny vespas' as an image of the Eternal City. Colour-wise, my favourites are 'inside bar' and 'old car' - plus 'doorway vatican museum' and 'table top' for the harmony between colour, geometrical composition and light. And, being a diver, I've had a little crush on the inside roof 'in the dome of St Peter', which reminds me of an urchin shell. Bonne continuation ! Katia
