I had to resize this image as well in order to see it, Mo. Be sure to size it correctly for the web, because it is perhaps your most expressive image of this trip and one of your most expressive images to date. The light on the arch and statue is spectacular. This is pretty much what I was suggesting you do in an earlier picture, where you had just missed the light on a statue. It is amazing how the play of light and shadow brings the statue to life, both abstracting it and making it incongruous at the same time. The play the light spills over on to the shoulder of the statue is breathtaking. You position the statue perfectly in the frame, creating a diagonal relationship with the arch overhead.
This image belongs in your all-time favorites and it is one that you will learn much from. You will never forget the importance of light and shadow after making an image this expressive, Mo.
