You really worked on the symbolism of life's phases here -- the tiny baby on the right is what we all
start out as, while the bed on the left is where we rest. This is her bed, and the grab bar handing over it, along with the call button, is reminiscent of those mobiles that once floated over a child's crib. Only this "mobile" is for the aged, not the young. She is caught between both the bed and the baby, and looks at us with patience and
resignation.
