Greek Architecture

Completed in 1824, the SECOND BANK OF THE UNITED STATES is one of the finest examples of Greek Revival architecture, modeled on the Parthenon in Greece.
Please note: There is bird mesh wrapped around the top of the building.
Located at 420 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Wonderful doric portico. I studied William Strickland architecture, he did quite a bit of work in Philly and in Nashville too. This is such a beautiful building, stately, like a bank should be!! V

A BAnk, huh.. Love the work you've done here, lots of texture and contrast, good job. Your pillar needs to vertical though, up is up, everything else is irrelevant. Straighten the left-side column and crop again, it'll be right... ciao, Alister
