Alphy Barney Paulsen has set up a small museum outside Dunde village, near Munda, New Georgia Island, housing his eclectic collection of wartime memorabilia, including water canteens, helmets, bayonets, pistols, grenades and many sundries: belt buckles, 'dog tags', key rings and pocket knives, to name a few. The American landing six kilometres east of here was crucial in the Allied victory in the Solomons.
