As I was returning from the Oregon Coast, I was following the Columbia River on the Washington (eastern) side near the town of Kalama and decided to take a side road close to the river. Walking along the bank, I saw an osprey flying off, but was not able to get a shot. However, I then spotted this fellow staring off into the sunset and was able to only get a quick burst of shots before he flew off.
