This is the 10th of 15 sequential images of an occultation of Saturn by the Moon on Sep 10, 2001. In an occultation one object passes in front of the other, obscuring the farther object of the nearer object covers a greater angle. Saturn is all the way behind the Moon now, and nothing can bew seen of it.
My Sony 505v was being used with eye piece projection from an 8" Meade LX-50.
