Ah, yes. Photo A Day.
It's been a while since I've last done PAD.
I had intended to start up on the first of the year and, in fact, had taken a shot on New Years Eve as a primer,
but I've been overcome since Christmas with the creeping crud and just wasn't up to it.
The funny thing is, as I was contemplating starting up again I saw that two old Pbase friends (and original PAD-ers), David and Linda, had started back up, too.
Well, I'm in good company then!

Ok, yes, this isn't a brilliant photo... and that's ok.
I've always used PAD more as a discipline to pick up my camera every day.
Sometimes good things come out of that and sometimes not so good happens. No shame there, though.
I can honestly say that, looking back over the years of doing PAD, my work has made steady improvement... and I'm happy with that.
That, and the many friendships that have developed over the years with other PAD-ers, has made it all worth while!

Oh, and the point of this photo? Well, I finally got the lights down off the house today...
