Barely visible through 60 miles of haze, the 11,245' Mount Hood, Oregon is part of the Cascades Range volcano chain that extends from Mount Shasta in northern California through Mount St. Helens, Mounts Adams and Rainier and Mount Baker in northern Washington and into Canada.
