Dunottar Sunrise - eventually!

An early start to meet up with Mcgarva and smit10pics down at Dunottar castle. The last three days we have had glorious sunrises but on the horizon today was a thick bank of cloud, it wasn't until after 9:00am it cleared the cloud and briefly illuminated the castle. I was still perched up high while Stewart and Tony headed to the beach and got some cracking shots.

See one of Stewart's (smit10pics) from the beach

A haunting looking shot. Great light worth waiting to catch. I like the pink in the sky too.

almost a dreamland, yet oh so immediate as well..a seemingly impregnable position for this ancient fortified town...vantage point, composition, light, all are magnificent..V

I can see why the light is so important. Very nicely done.
