The view from the boundary

I am fortunate to play cricket for Crathie Cricket Club (well I see it as fortunate). This is the view from the long on boundary - castle end, the castle being Balmoral. The surrounds are so beautiful it is easy to be distracted when playing. Most members of the team have seen better days -I include myself, and resemble a 'Dads Army' of players - the 'youth policy' being represented by a few players in their early 40's

We like this image very much. The foreground fence changes the context of the image so much. V

Looks like the kind of place that it would be hard to keep your eye on the ball
with such a fabulous view.

Excellent shot ..... you'll have to get them to do very long shots so you can get closer!!
