My wife is a serious amateur cyclist.
She is flaked this evening after climbing 50+ miles of very steep hills in the Finger Lakes region of upstate NY.
All of her bikes are purple.

Hilly half century-good for her! My bike is also purple my fave color. Is she training for a century? Used to cycle a lot....never rode in NY but have from Seattle & Atlantic City --- and a few miles (~3400) in between.... Love her mascot!

I like purple, my phone is purple.. think my bike is partly too.. I used to love to ride my street bike but I never got in enough shape to do hills at all! some serious money can go into the good gear, I know!

I can relate to that - my tale of woe today was the "perfectly timed" reversal of wind. Sigh. Purple is such a perfect colour for bikes. Good choice (and nice machine).
