Thanks so much, Hal. It takes a Bald Eagle five years to gain its adult plumage. Initially the fledglings are pretty much black to dark brown - no white at all.

Magnificent shot and great timing, Terry. l'm surprised that it keeps its juvenile plumage for so long. Looks like its first day out of the nest.
