4-10-2015 Male Harrier at Dungeness Bay, Washington

Be sure to view in Original Size

I had written off this image just looking at in my LCD camera screen because it looked
like it was flying away from me. Well, it was, but what saved
it was that the bird was looking directly at me.

The Male Harrier is a spectacular silvery bird - and
one sees them about one time in 10 as compared to the female which
is a dark brown.

Canon EOS 5D Mark III ,Canon EF 400mm f/5.6L USM
1/1000s f/8.0 at 560.0mm iso400 hand held full exif
