Hal, My friend, who is working on the textures that i was trying out, wrote a tutorial on converting an old camera to an IR camera. You mentioned interest in this topic before. Here is the link to his tutorial:

Thanks, Terry.
I started with the photo of Trisha looking through the frame and did my usual adjustments to get the photo just right in Lightroom. I took it to Photoshop. I had a photo of a floor tile. I got it from a photo friend. He is planning to sell a big packet of textures and I was testing one out for him. He is also going to be making a video explaining how to use textures. If anyone is interested, I'll give you a link to him when he has it finished.
I copied the tile and put it on a layer over Trisha. I made it an overlay and masked out selective parts of the photo. Then I pasted in another instance of the tile floor photo and used the transform command to rotate it around. I changed the blend mode to overlay again and adjusted the opacity. I did another round of masking out some of the parts.
I often shoot textures when I see them. Concrete with cracks is a very effective texture to blend over a photo. Other examples are fabric, tree bark, pebbles and stones, bricks and tiles, shake roofs. Warning: Playing with textures is addictive! :-)
